Sessions can take place either in our studio or outdoors around Tauranga and Mount Maunganui, depending on the style and atmosphere you feel most connected to.
Many families choose to combine their maternity and newborn sessions, allowing us to tell the beginning of their baby’s story from the very first chapter.

MATERNITY SESSION FAQS
When is the best time for maternity photos?
The ideal time for a maternity session is around 30–32 weeks of pregnancy, when your belly is beautifully round but you are still comfortable moving and posing.
We recommend booking your session during your second trimester to secure availability around that time.
Do maternity sessions have to be outdoors?
Not at all. Your maternity session can take place:
• outdoors at a beautiful location in Tauranga or Mount Maunganui
• in our studio, which is especially lovely during the cooler months
Our studio also has a beautiful green outdoor area, so we can often create both indoor and outdoor images in the same session.
Travel fees may apply for locations further away.
How long does a maternity session take?
Depending on the experience you choose, maternity sessions usually take between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours, allowing plenty of time for relaxed and natural images.
