These fun photo sessions started originally in America a few years ago and now this trend has now made its way to New Zealand.

They are usually done around baby’s first birthday and it's an opportunity for them to get messy without restrictions here. And not only because we want them to have fun, but also because that messy play touching, squishing between fingers and tasting creates a great sensory exploration developing hand, arm and body coordination and different ways to be creative and expressive.

Those expressions are the key to create beautiful portraits.
